Your Mission as Senior Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Deal Team, you’ll play a key role in building powerful B2B tools that help dealerships attract leads, sell more cars and deliver exceptional digital experiences. Working closely with engineering, product, design and commercial teammates, you will:

• Build and scale frontend systems that live on dealer websites and drive meaningful sales outcomes.
• Take ownership of key features, from idea to implementation, with a focus on quality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and influence the technical direction of our B2B offerings.
• Mentor and guide teammates through code reviews, pairing, and technical feedback.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence, embodying AutoUncle’s values.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, ideally within B2B or SaaS environments.
• Proven expertise in modern technologies like React, Next.js, Vue.js, TypeScript
• Knowledgeable of backend systems and full-stack development to support cross-functional decision-making.
• Track record of delivering scalable, production-ready web applications with great UX.
• Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in mentoring others.
• Comfort working in a remote-first environment and collaborating across time zones.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with frameworks like Shape Up.
• Experience optimizing mobile web performance and deploying SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of analytics tools like Posthog or Google Analytics.
• Interest in the automotive or retail tech space.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or other MVC frameworks
