Your role as a Customer Success Manager

As Line states "There’s no one path to Customer Success. Customer Success is a combination of product, sales, and marketing - and customer service, of course."

With reference to the Head of Customer Success you’ll work closely with our Sales, Integration & Customer Success team to ensure a loyal and happy customer base, focusing on providing real value and ROI for them and for AutoUncle through onboarding, retention, churn prevention and customer development.

We want to be our customers' digital uncle to ask, and your daily tasks will be;

  • Creating a close relationship with our customers starting during onboarding, deepened by training and consulting  in our tools and products and making sure they have success
  • Health Checks with customers to ensure retention and happiness 
  • Proactively interact with customers in every stage of their journey and be upfront to respond to alerts, or red flags regarding poor customer health metrics
  • Improve our customers business' by providing world class market insights tailored to their strategy, giving online marketing expertise in an consulting and advisory way
  • Developing customers via up/cross-selling, renegotiate, and upgrades, advice on traffic, UX & website optimisation etc.

The You

You get energy from- and self ignite when faced with a new customer to onboard, or turn a non performing customer into a success. You have self confidence and a proactive approach to solving problems and taking initiative. You can tailor, create positive tension with your customers and stakeholders (CMOs, CEOs, Heads of sales etc.) and you have the ability to teach and educate your audience in digital products and solutions.

Moreover, you’ve;

  • experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager/Specialist, Digital Campaign Manager, Client/Relationship Manager, or Consultant.
  • already worked with digital marketing - maybe even already managed (multi-user) traffic campaigns - or have a solid understanding of it
  • a high activity level, naturally pick up the phone and call customers to understand problems and root-causes, or just to check in
  • a “digital” background, and can quickly become a superuser in various digital tools (CRM, admin, GetAccept, MailChimp etc.)
  • tech-savvyiness and a good technical understanding, used to handle complex innovative products and can explain it to non technical people
  • professional fluency (speaking and writing) in German as you’ll communicate with customers in this language
  • confidence in English as this is our internal company language
  • an advantage if you have insights into the automotive industry, but not a must
  • a growth mindset, want to learn and develop yourself and others
  • humour, thrive in a feedback culture and a trusted colleague
